This pattern is very special to me. As my reputation grow from words of mouth, I was approached by this lady who was referred to me by my previous son's daycare worker. She contacted me and she wanted to have a beautiful Christmas hat for her sister's baby. Like in everything that we do, there is always something we struggle with, and for me, it's clothing. Therefore, to make sure that I didn't F- it up, I searched on our best friend Google, the measurements for a baby hat of 0-3 months. I mean, its easier when you do adult clothing because at least I have myself as measurement, but for baby and children, it's a bit complicated as they grow up so fast and as for newborn, you never know what lbs they are going to be as a 6lbs newborn vs a 10lbs newborn does make a difference. Anyhow, I created this hat with the measurement of a 0-3 month baby.
Measurement :
15'' head circonference
14'' hat circonference
3'' width of the edge
6.75'' heigth before the decrease (the head)
To be honest, I was nervous while creating it because I really wanted it to fit and I didn't want to disappoint a client. At the end... it turn out GREAT !!!! and most importantly... IT FIT PERFECT !!!
With the mother's permission, agreement and blessing, here is my little beauty !
